The China Food and Drug Administration and the New Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) have partnered to create a scholarship programme for Chinese food safety officials.

Massey University designed the programme and is closely involved in its delivery, with input from partners AsureQuality, AgResearch, Plant and Food Research and MPI.

The programme covers key topics, such as best practice regulation, risk management, food process and design, and the development and implementation of food standards, and includes internships within the partner organisations.

Upon completion, scholarship participants will receive a Massey University qualification, the Graduate Certificate in Science and Technology.
