Anton Paar introduces SAXSpoint 500 and SAXSpoint 700, state-of-the-art laboratory beamlines offering unparalleled capabilities in SAXS/WAXS/GISAXS/USAXS/RheoSAXS analysis. Designed to meet the needs of researchers and industrial users, SAXSpoint instruments combine precision, flexibility, and efficiency, enabling comprehensive material studies under diverse experimental conditions.

SAXSpoint 700 features a spacious and innovative measurement chamber, allowing users to conduct experiments under ambient, non-ambient, and air conditions. The system achieves exceptional resolution with a minimum q-value of 0.01nm⁻¹ at a 3.6m system length. A moving detector enables automatic adjustments to the sample detector distance, ranging from less than 45mm to over 1,600mm. This functionality supports seamless transitions between experiments, eliminating downtime and optimising workflows.

The systems are equipped for simultaneous SAXS and WAXS measurements using the innovative Slidemaster technology. This integration ensures data acquisition without the need for realignment, saving time and effort. Additionally, SAXSpoint instruments include a GISAXS stage capable of performing GISAXS and GIWAXS measurements in a temperature range from -150°C to +500°C. A robust BioSAXS module supports high-throughput analysis of up to 192 samples with SAXSpoint 500, with injection volumes as low as 10μL, ensuring precision and efficiency for biological and pharmaceutical applications. The RheoSAXS integration in SAXSpoint 700 allows users to study structural and rheological properties simultaneously, combining the capabilities of SAXS with Anton Paar’s renowned DSR 502 rheometer.

SAXSpoint instruments are built to deliver superior data quality with a brilliant X-ray beam offering the highest spectral purity and scatterless collimation. These features enable synchrotron-grade results, resolving nanostructures up to 620 nm and, with USAXS, extending into the micrometer range. The system’s advanced software suite, including SAXSdrive™ and SAXSanalysis™, supports automated setup and customisable data analysis, while Python-based scripting gives SAXSpoint 700 users full experiment control. A free and life-long software update policy ensures that customers benefit from future development.

Engineered for adaptability and scalability, SAXSpoint instruments allow users to tailor the system to meet evolving research demands. Stringent quality management, established procedures (eg. acceptance tests), and certified service personnel ensure minimum service response time, full service traceability, and top service quality. Anton Paar provides extensive application support and a standard three-year warranty to ensure maximum uptime and user satisfaction. With a global network of experts, Anton Paar is committed to advancing materials research through innovative solutions.
