With its acquisition of Brabender, Anton Paar is excited to now expand its traditional portfolio of instruments for analysing food and feed.
With Anton Paar’s new Brabender instruments ready for food analysis, Anton Paar has expanded its current portfolio of rheometers, particle size analysers, microwave-assisted digestion systems, X-ray diffractometers, and density analysers. Customers can now fully characterise the physical properties of their food products.
This means they can analyse optimal water absorption levels and the kneading behaviour and dough properties as well as determine water content and starch gelatinization levels.
On top of that, customers can use Anton Paar mixers and extruders to improve or develop new food products. They can also scale up from lab to pilot plant food extrusion, and produce products of various dimensions, shapes, and compositions. Finally, they get the right information to modify the texture of various materials, such as proteins, starches, fish feed, cereals, and pasta, with Anton Paar’s Brabender extruders.
In the end, this lets customers optimise all aspects of their production process, from raw material QC, formulation, and transportation to packaging, storage, and final product QC.
