With the GLPmaxx, Bizerba is introducing a new printer from its GLP generation for the food-processing industry, manufacturing and the logistics sector.

The device can be used as desired as a standalone or a sum-value printer and has a scales interface. That means it is equally suited to weight-related product labelling. Due to new high-speed hardware, customers benefit from more storage and the faster preparation of label data.

Fixed-value, fixed-price, fixed-weight or weight-related labelling is taken on by the GLPmaxx as a manual price labelling device with all of the necessary calibration certificates. As a sum-value printer it can be easily integrated behind a Bizerba GLM-E, GLM-I or GLP-I labelling system. In its function as a standalone printer the device manually labels packaging, containers and pallets.

The GLPmaxx is just as network-capable as all other models in the series and can be used over the Internet with a browser. It seamlessly fits into Bizerba’s weighing technology and is thus ideal for entry into manual price labelling. All devices in the GLPmaxx series also have the GT-7C operating terminal with a colour display as an option and are therefore easy to operate. This also applies to the easy and quick changing of label rolls.

High-quality materials guarantee reliable functioning and a long lifespan. The tool-free adjustment and maintenance of the printer unit also allows for a reduction in costs. Data storage occurs via an external USB connection; statistical data can be logged and stored temporarily via the internal USB connection.

The GLPmaxx 80 and GLPmaxx 160 designs are available painted or in stainless steel. The GLPmaxx 160 L processes linerless labels without a substrate and uses label rolls that contain 40% more labels. This allows the set-up time to be reduced with the same number of packages.
