Denomega Nutritional Oils, the leading pioneer of taste and odour free Omega-3 solutions for the food and supplement markets, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Harald Ronneberg as managing director.

Dr. Ronneberg has recently joined Denomega after four successful years as managing director of LignoTech South Africa. Previous to his time in South Africa, Dr. Ronneberg was CEO of Borregaard’s fine chemical operations in the US.

Dr. Ronneberg holds a PhD in organic chemistry from The Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and was for many years employed in research by the Australian National University and University of Oxford before joining the industry. Dr. Ronneberg is still an adjunct professor at The Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

Dr. Ronneberg said: “I am looking forward to continuing developing the valuable asset of the complete no taste and no odour Omega-360TM concept. Creating Omega-360TM is not a skill that is learnt overnight. Denomega has many years of experience in fish oil refining, with traces back to 1912. I am proud to take the next step in Denomega’s history, working closely together with the rest of the highly qualified team in our company.”
