AFIS has received the highest rating of “Excellent” for our latest Safe Quality Food (SQF) recertification. This rating is conferred by the Safe Quality Food Institute (SQFI), a rigorous and credible food safety and quality program that is recognized by retailers, brand owners, and food service providers world-wide.
AFIS’s SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing recertification is a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) based food safety plan, bench-marked by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).
Our SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing recertification recognises the system and processes AFIS uses in developing and manufacturing its products, and the superior safety and the quality of our completed products.
“Our employees continue to demonstrate their ongoing commitment and passion for our customers by producing safe, high-quality products through their knowledge, experience and training,” said Graeme Dossetor, Managing Director, AFIS.
“The audit also helps AFIS improve our process and food safety management systems, assisting in identifying and managing potential risks that the applying company faces.”
In achieving this certification, AFIS has fulfilled the rigorous standards of food safety (formerly Level 2) and quality (formerly Level 3) upheld by the SQFI.
