Our modular whole fish grading systems distribute the fish according to the following pre-defined criteria. Jobs are easily configured for:
- Sizing
- Minimum weight
- Target batching
- Mixed batching
- Controlled flow
The fish is received on an infeed conveyor that stabilises the product and sends it to an acceleration conveyor to ensure correct spacing before weighing. Once weighed on the dynamic scale, the products are distributed to the following:
- Tubs
- Packing chutes / presentation trays
- Combined tubs and packing chutes / presentation trays
The grader can be equipped with single or double-sided drop-off arms, according to customer design needs.

BAADER hopper scales are specially designed to meet the requirements of the fish industry in terms of throughput, reliability, hygiene and accuracy. A common application of hopper scales is weighing of a continuous flow of products into batches for further packing or processing. On the other hand, weighing of by-products (heads, frames and skin) is carried out in order to monitor the yield and performance of your processing line.

This twin grading system receives the fillets on infeed conveyors, which space the product and send it to the weighing units. Once weighed on the dynamic scale, the products are distributed to drop-off stations and packing chutes situated on the right side of the grader. As an option, the fillets can also be turned and distributed to a cross-conveyor for skinning or other purposes.

This static scale is made for box weighing. The roller top makes it easy to maneuver the boxes on the weighing unit. The static scale can be used as a packing station placed at the end of a grading line where it is possible to pack and register boxes to specific orders. Weighing results from the scale are approved weights and can be used for commercial purposes. The user-friendly interface makes it easy to keep track of order status, stock status and history data. Professional label software enables you to print important product information, such as product description, supplier identification, customer name, net weight and packing date.
