US consumers will go out for meals more
regularly in 2007 than they did in 2002.
In 2002 on average people went out for a
meal 0.6 times during the week and 1.1 times
at the weekend. In 2007 these figures will
rise to 0.9 times during the week and 1.3
times at the weekends. Consumers will increasingly
opt for cafe and bar type environments that
offer greater flexibility.
