Mexican food manufacturer Reynaldo’s Mexican Food Company has announced that it has made its first delivery of Reynaldo’s “white-wrapped” burritos to Costco.
Salvador Lopez, vice president of national sales for Reynaldo’s, witnessed the delivery and product placement at a Costco Wholesale Warehouse location in San Diego County on Tuesday. “It is a great day to see our Reynaldo’s Mexican food products featured in the rows of refrigerated display cases of Costco,” he said.
Reynaldo’s “white-wrapped” burritos are the company’s higher-end burrito product and have been approved for distribution in Costco’s San Diego region. However, Joseph R. Garcia III, Reynaldo’s chief operating officer, noted that a meeting is scheduled next week with Costco representatives to discuss the roll-out of “white-wrapped” burritos in Costco’s Los Angeles region. “This is just a start and we hope to expand our product line presence within the network of Costco stores,” he said.
