The only North American plant that makes Pringles crisps has resumed production, a week after tornado damage forced the facility in Jackson, Tennessee to close.

US consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble, which operates the plant, said orders would resume on 15 May, with shipping recommencing the following week. The plant, which also makes Torengos crisps, is currently operating at 50% capacity.
Pringles is one of 12 brands that generate at least US$1bn in annual sales for P&G.
P&G said last week that the disruption would hurt sales in the current quarter by less than 1%, reported Reuters.
