US branded food giant Kraft Foods announced on Friday that Brian Driscoll, 42, currently Senior VP of Sales and Customer Logistics for the Biscuit, Snacks & Confections Group, has been named to the newly created position of Executive VP, Field Sales and Integrated Logistics.
Driscoll will continue to serve on the Kraft Foods North America Operating Committee and will report to Phil Pellegrino, Senior Vice President and President, Sales, for Kraft Foods North America.
In his new role, he will oversee all field sales activities in the US for both the Kraft retail and Nabisco businesses, including the Biscuit and Pizza Direct Store Selling organizations.
“Brian is an enthusiastic, high-energy leader who brings a wealth of sales experience to his new position,” Pellegrino said. “He has a great track record with the Nabisco Direct Store Delivery organization and has developed excellent relationships with our trade customers.”
Driscoll was named to his current position in December 2000. He began his career at Procter & Gamble in 1980 as a sales representative, then five years later moved to Nestle USA where he held a number of sales and general management positions. He joined Nabisco in 1995 and was named Senior VP, Sales and Customer Logistics for the Nabisco Biscuit Company in 1998. Driscoll received a B.S. in Marketing and Finance from St. John’s University.
