Arlington Heights, Il-based Federated Group, has announced that as of 1 September, Federated Foodservice will once again operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.

The national foodservice sales and marketing group, which formed a strategic alliance with All Kitchens of America in 1997, is returning to its parent group, it said, in order to “offer members and suppliers the advantages of in-depth services, programmes and state-of-the- art management capabilities”.

Deb Winter, VP sales – northeast, is one of the foodservice executives spearheading the move. She explained: “With all the changes in the foodservice industry, we see this as an excellent way to offer more value to a demanding marketplace.”

Jim Donahue, sales director – midwest, commented: “The move enables us to develop closer, more personalized relationships with our distributor members and their customers, while tapping into more sophisticated resources.”

Ed Delaney, sales director – south, added: “As the food industry lines of distinction become less defined, we’re looking forward to using all the Federated resources to our advantage.”

Also returning to Federated is Mike Crowley, based on the West Coast. “It’s a constantly evolving industry. Joining forces with Federated Group puts us at the forefront of IT services, quality assurance and customer development.”
