Spartanburg-based full-service family restaurant chain Denny’s has launched its second annual “Kids Eat Free” programme.
In a press release, the company explains that the promotion is designed to “support family togetherness” in the wake of the 11 September terrorist attacks.
A recent study by Yankelovich Partners indicated that the attacks left many Americans with the desire to spend more quality time with loved ones, and that dining together as a family is even more important.
Roy Getz, senior VP of marketing at Denny’s, commented: “We are very excited to demonstrate Denny’s commitment to families, and to provide them with the opportunity to spend more quality time together.”
The program offers the chance to collect up to two free children’s entrees (for children ages 10 and under) with the purchase of one adult entree. The promotion was launched yesterday [Monday] and will run until 10 March 10, between 4-10 p.m.
