Bob Evans said it invested US$4m in the facility, which it purchased from New York-based dessert marker Kozy Shack Enterprises.
The facility, which will initially employ 60 workers, will serve as the sandwich assembly plant for the company.
Bob Evans recently reports fourth-quarter earnings of $17.6m, compared to $17.5m a year earlier, reported Dow Jones News Service.
