Bankrupt US convenience store operator Swifty Serve is to sell around 500 convenience stores, service stations and truck stops next month.

The stores, which are mainly situated in the southeast, are to be sold through a sealed bid sale in a “buy one, some or all” format on 12 December.
Swifty Serve operated over 600 stores in 12 US states and was the 25th-largest US convenience store operator before filing for bankruptcy on 4 October. The company has closed all its stores and ceased operations since then, reported the Sun Herald.
