Yakult has expanded the reach of its namesake probiotic beverage in the US with a series of listings in the state of Texas.
From the beginning of next month, Yakult will be sold in Wal-Mart, Kroger, Safeway’s Tom Thumb and Randalls chains, as well as H-E-B, and several independent stores, the company said today (24 February).
The company said it has a “unique” rollout strategy, focusing on regional markets and developing strong consumer education programs regarding probiotics and healthy lifestyles.
“Our mission is to create a healthier society across the US,” said vice president and COO Teruo Tabuchi. “With the momentum of these powerful grocery chains, we are looking forward to great success in Texas.”
