Hummus has been made available in 2.4 ounce twisty “to go” convenience packages by Wild Garden in the US.
The garbanzo bean-based dip is shelf-stable, and the Traditional flavour is produced using an authentic Mediterranean recipe.
Wild Garden vice president of sales Mark Smith said: “We are very excited about this new convenience packaging.
“The food industry has given our hummus products an enthusiastic welcome because they satisfy so many important consumer health concerns and have a zesty, appealing taste.”
Wild Garden said the dip can also offer benefits to the retailer.
