US snack maker Tropical Foods has launched three snack mixes in its domestic market to meet growing demand.
The ReCharge “naturally-enhanced” snack mixes are available in three flavours – cranberry blend, chia and dark chocolate. The chia blend features chia sticks mixed with cranberries, almonds, dark chocolate chunks, yogurt-covered raisins, pineapple and white chocolate drops.

The ReCharge ingredients contain antioxidants, Vitamin B6, Omega-3 and are low in sodium, the company said yesterday (27 October).
“ReCharge Naturally Enhanced Snack Mixes meet growing consumer demand for natural snacks and nutrient-rich ingredients,” Tropical Foods brand manager Chad Hartman said.
The products are available in 10lb bulk re-sealable bags at Ingles and Healthy Home Market stores and will soon be available in 5oz re-sealable bags.
Tropical Foods manufactures raw and freshly roasted nuts and seeds, dried fruit, and hundreds of bulk and packaged candies, spices, and speciality foods.
