Plum Organics plans to expand its business further in international markets following yesterday’s (24 January) acquisition of UK baby food group Plum UK.
Speaking to just-food, Plum Organics CEO Neil Grimmer revealed that the company is eyeing further growth outside the US and UK markets.
“We don’t think healthy food for kids is an idea that is exclusive to the UK or US. We think that is an idea that has global appeal for parents everywhere,” he commented.
Plum UK CEO Scott Wootherspoon added: “There are plans to expand in other markets. It is a bit early to say what they are, but this is a significant opportunity all over the world. We will be going into new markets at the right time.”
