Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream Holdings, a US unit of food giant Nestlé, has named COO Timothy Kahn as its president and CEO.
Kahn will replace the company’s chairman and CEO Gary Rogers, who will retire at the end of the year.
Kahn joined Dreyer’s as CFO in 1998, and was appointed executive vice president and COO in 2003, when Nestlé took a 67% stake in the company.
Kahn began his career with Unilever in 1978. In 1980, he joined PepsiCo and held a number of financial management positions in the US and internationally.
