Danone’s US yoghurt unit Dannon has announced that Gustavo Valle will replace Juan Carlos Dalto as its president and CEO next month.

Valle is currently the CEO of Danone Brazil and will take up the role at Dannon on 1 April.

He joined Danone in 1996 and has served as VP of finance and CEO of Danone Waters in Argentina before heading up Danone’s Brazilian operations.

“In both businesses, Valle achieved significant success in top-line growth and profitability,” Danone said in a statement.

Valle will report to Dirk Van de Put, executive vice president, Danone Americas Region.
