ConAgra Foods has appointed Joan K Chow as executive vice president and chief marketing officer. Directing the company’s marketing strategy, she will report directly to CEO Gary Rodkin.

Until January of this year, Chow was the marketing boss and SVP of Sears. She has also served in leadership roles at Information Resources and Johnson & Johnson.
“Joan Chow is a multi-dimensional marketer with a proven ability to lead across large organisations,” said Rodkin. “She has in-depth experience in reaching consumers through a variety of marketing mixes and channels, as well as critical expertise in insights-driven marketing strategies.
