MamaMancini’s, a US-based supplier of Italian-style food, has linked up with plant-based meat company Beyond Meat on a new range of products.
New Jersey-based MamaMancini’s, a marketer and distributor of pre-prepared, frozen and refrigerated food lines, is to offer plant-based meatballs and pasta bowls using Beyond Meat’s Beyond Beef mince.
New products will include Beyond Beef Meatballs & Sauce in several sizes, as well as vegan and gluten-free based Spaghetti and Beyond Beef Meatball Pasta Bowls.
MamaMancini’s said it expects to begin introducing the new lines throughout the US immediately. Currently, its products are sold at 45,000 food retail locations across the country, including Walmart, Kroger and Albertsons.

In the second fiscal quarter of 2020, ending 31 July 2019, MamaMancini’s grew its sales by 44% to US$8.1m.
Its portfolio consists of more than 20 products including meatballs, meatloaf, chicken parmesan, sausages and pasta dinner kits.
