Ukraine poultry processor MHP has announced CEO Yuriy Kosyuk has been appointed to a key role in the new presidential administration – headed by chocolate tycoon Petro Poroshenko.
Kosyuk has been named deputy first head of the presidential administration. MHP said its deputy CEO Yuriy Melnyk would become its chief executive.
Poroshenko, elected Ukraine’s President earlier this year, started doing business in Ukraine’s confectionery industry in the 1990s, buying several plants and merging them into candy maker Roshen in 1995.
