Northern Foods frozen pizza brand, Goodfella’s, is unveiling a new range of pizzas, aimed at Iceland’s core shoppers.


Goodfella’s Deeply Delicious Minis and Goodfella’s Friday Fever Square which family pack includes two large, square Friday Fever pizzas and pizza garlic bread.


The two ranges will be available from the beginning of September and aim to add GBP3.4m (US$6.2m) worth of sales to the category, the company said today (28 August).


“We’ve identified a clear opportunity for growth and have created two new and exclusive ranges to appeal to Iceland’s core family audience,” said Kevan Mallinder, marketing director for Goodfella’s. “The new ranges deliver an exciting proposition for consumers, offering real value for money at a time when people are tightening their belts.”


Goodfella’s Deeply Delicious Minis will be sold in an individual, miniature format and are expected to drive just under GBP2m in incremental sales.

Goodfella’s Friday Fever Square to Share Family Pack is a new twist on the Friday Fever pizza range, and is made using a 11.5” square-shaped base. It is expected to drive incremental sales of around GBP1.6m.
