Morrisons has today (23 November) confirmed that senior own-label executive Danny Micklethwaite has left the company.
Micklethwaite’s departure comes just five months after he joined the UK retailer from Arla Foods.

He has rejoined Arla, where he had worked within the company’s UK marketing team. However, officials at the dairy giant could not be immediately reached to confirm what Micklethwaite’s role will be.
When contacted by just-food, a spokesperson for Morrisons could not disclose Micklethwaite’s reasons for leaving or confirm who was replacing him.
The announcement comes two months after the retailer launched the first stage of its revamped private-label range. The M Kitchen range of convenience food products includes 150 new lines and 500 reformulated items.
