The US brand will be available in two variants exclusive to the UK: Popcorn Candy Chip and Crispy Choco Caramel.

Rick Lawrence, head of the biscuits category for Mondelez’s businesses in the UK and Ireland, said: “We’re hugely excited to be bringing the fun and quirky personality of Chips Ahoy to the UK for the first time. Our exclusive Chips Ahoy recipes have different and distinctive flavour and texture combinations that have been developed to appeal to consumers who are looking for exciting experiences – something that’s currently missing from the biscuit category.”

The Chips Ahoy range will be available this month in packs of 12 biscuits at an RRP of GBP1.99 US$3.29).
