HJ Heinz has revamped the look of its flavoured beans range for the UK market.


The range will be more aligned with the look and feel of the iconic ‘Heinz Beanz’ range, the company said today (2 November), and will give consumers “helpful hints and tips to make mealtimes more exciting”.


The new packaging takes the existing Heinz Mean Beanz range of flavoured products: Sweet Chilli, Mexican and Smokey BBQ and puts them in the classic Heinz Beanz turquoise pack colour.


“We know that consumers want to make their meals more interesting but are struggling to find a quick way of making their meals enjoyable, but different, everyday,” said Lucy Cawkwell, Heinz Beanz, brand manager. “With its fresh new look, that brings the range more in line with iconic Heinz Beanz, Heinz’s flavoured beans are just the answer as it will be easy to find on shelf and will give beans fans the confidence to try something new, while sticking with a brand they know and trust.”


She added: “We are confident that the re-packaging will create a greater stand-out on shelf, attracting new and existing customers to buy across the range.”

Last month Heinz launched its “biggest” umbrella brand marketing campaign, called “it has to be Heinz”.


The company said that its multi-product, multi-platform represented Heinz’s biggest marketing investment in the last five years.
