
Ferrero is taking Nutella into the UK confectionery category with the launch of portable snack Nutella & Go.
The line, which is already present in the US, French and German markets, targets teens and young adults and is a pack containing Nutella’s hazelnut and cocoa spread and dipping sticks.
Ferrero claims Nutella & Go is the “number one selling countline product” in the US, “outselling its nearest competitor by 63%”.
Boorer added the launch will “reinforce Ferrero’s commitment to introducing new and innovative products”.
The product will be on sale from August with a RRP of GBP0.84 (US$1.42).
