The company explained that they were designed specifically to cater for the increasing demand for innovative menu ideas for ready meals, both for food service and retail, and hand held snacking products.
The range of powder flavours, available in natural and nature identical versions, include inspiration from Southern and Northern European cheeses. Each flavour contains added herbs, heat, alcoholic or meaty notes, which give subtle twists to the basic cheese profiles.
The range has proved successful in sauces, ready meals, soups, dips and dressings with many applications requiring less than 1% in RTE product. A 5% dosage in seasonings and coatings gives impactful flavour.
These products also survive high temperatures and freeze-thaw processes, and they are all suitable for vegetarians and contain no HVPs.
