UK retailer The Co-operative Group is planning a major brand relaunch, a spokesperson for the group confirmed today (9 January).
The company is planning a “huge” investment to relaunch its brand in an attempt to win over new customers, the group revealed.
“We are working on the details of the campaign now but it will be a huge investment for us,” CEO Peter Marks said.
“We will totally relaunch the brand and want to send a message out to people to come and try us if they haven’t been for a while as we’ve changed.”
However, a spokesperson for the retailer told just-food that – as the project is still in the planning stage – no further details are currently available.
