Delivered grocery wholesaler Blueheath has announced an increase in turnover to £70.2m (US$133.5m) in the year ended 26 February 2005, compared with £62.7m in the previous year.
The company’s loss on ordinary activities before taxation was £6.2m, compared with £7.5m last year.
“The group has made good progress in growing the business over the past year,” said chief executive Douglas Gurr. “With continued success in securing important new contracts and the successful conclusion of our first acquisition, we expect to see strong growth in the year ahead as we progress towards breakeven.”
