UK businesses The Wensleydale Creamery and Yorkshire Provender have established a brand tie-up.
The companies are planning to relaunch Yorkshire Provender Tomato and Red Pepper with Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese soup, which features new packaging to highlight the provenance of the cheese with the Wensleydale Creamery logo.
The new soup packaging is being rolled out at retailers including Tesco, The Co-operative Group and Waitrose.
David Hartley, MD at Wensleydale Creamery, said: “We’re delighted to have partnered with another iconic Yorkshire brand and are proud to have our brand displayed on the soup packaging.
“Our heritage coupled with our provenance, where we hand craft our cheese to a time honoured recipe in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales using milk from local farms makes Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese taste truly unique and it’s fantastic to see it being used to compliment other areas of the chilled food category.”
