Thai convenience retail giant CP All, which oversees the running of 7-11 stores in the country, saw earnings and sales climb in its first half.

In the six months to the end of June, net profit reached THB5.85bn (US$187.2m). The result compared to earnings of THB5.36bn in the prior-year period.

CP All, which acquired Thai wholesaler Siam Makro in April, saw sales climb 15.3% to THB106.53bn.

The retailer opened 388 stores in the period, bringing its current store count to 7,210.
