Australian fish group Tassal has launched snacking and breakfast options to tap into growing consumption patterns.
The company is rolling out a snack range comprising of three variants: Salmon & Quinoa, Salmon & Beans and Salmon & Rice.

By GlobalDataTassal said the on-the-go meals target Australians who are "juggling work, family, health and social commitments". The line is ready-to-eat and does not require heating.
"Australians are becoming much more health conscious and want to be empowered when making food choices and looking for time-saving meal solutions and Tassal’s new snacking range is here to help them," said Tassal senior brand manager George Dimkin.
The company also announced it is eyeing the breakfast market with the launch of salmon rashers. "We wanted to give consumers the confidence to enjoy salmon for breakfast and our new Tassal Salmon Rashers are the perfect solution. They’re simple, easy to prepare and something they can enjoy any day of the week, most importantly they’re delicious and ready in minutes," Dimkin said.
Salmon Rashers are available in Coles and Woolworths for an RRP of A$9.99 (US$7.12). The snacking range will be carried by Coles with an RRP of $4.29.
The products are "responsibly sourced" and "sustainably certified", Tassal added.
