The agreement has been heralded as the end to months of complicated trade disputes between South Korea and its much larger neighbour, sparked off when the Korean government imposed import tariffs on Chinese garlic last summer, but have yet to receive final confirmation because of indecision at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
