South African dairy products group Clover Industries has appointed a new chief financial officer in the shape of Frantz Scheepers.
A chartered accountant by profession, Scheepers has spent his whole career to date with accountancy firm Ernst & Young (EY).
Scheepers knows Clover well as he was EY’s lead audit partner on the company audit from 2007 to 2013 and was also part of the audit team when Clover was listed in 2010.
He replaces Elton Bosch in the role.
Over a two month period – starting 1 November – Scheepers will act as the CFO designate and work closely with Bosch to ensure a smooth transition. He will then formally assume the role of CFO of the company effective 1 January and be appointed as an executive director.
It was announced by Clover back in July Bosch had resigned “for personal reasons and in order to pursue other interests”.
