Unilever aims to increase revenues from its Russian ice cream business Inmarko and grow its market share, the company has said.

Under this project, Unilever will construct several Inmarko production facilities near St. Petersburg and in a number of regions in the west of Russia.

Last week, the company started the construction of an ice cream production facility worth of US$140m in the Tula region.

Unilever Russia informed just-food that full-scale production in Tula is planned to start as early as in 2011.
