R&R Ice Cream and Mondelez International have taken the snacks group’s confectionery brand Cadbury Marvellous Creations into the ice cream category in the UK.
The Cadbury Dairy Milk Marvellous Ice Creams are available in four flavours, including Jelly Popping Candy and Zingy Raspberry Choc Brownie.
Each ice cream contains two flavours, a swirl of Cadbury Dairy Milk and a variety of inclusions in an echo of the confectionery range Mondelez launched in 2013.
The ingredients in the ice cream meant R&R was “really challenging the boundaries of manufacturing for this new range”, Charlotte Hambling, the company’s head of UK marketing, said.
The ice creams, sold in 500ml tubs, will be available next month at an RRP of GBP3.99 (US$6.07).
The launch is the latest Mondelez-branded product developed by R&R for the UK market. Last week, R&R announced the launch of the first Cadbury Caramel ice cream.
