UK fresh produce supplier Produce World has announced the departure of a number of its senior executives, including CEO Neil Fraser, after a review of its management structure.

Procurement director Jon Campbell, commercial director Frank Robinson and Tim Preston, the company’s operations director, have also left the business.

A spokesperson said: “As a result the business now has a flatter structure which we believe will give us the flexibility to best meet the needs of our customers. Senior management positions have been filled by a number of highly experienced individuals from within the business.”

Produce World has named William Burgess as its new chairman and CEO. Burgess is a member of the Burgess family, which has a majority shareholding in Produce World. Prior to his appointment, he held the position of deputy CEO.
