
Pork Farms Group, the UK pastry products business, has changed its name to Addo Food Group in the wake of its acquisition of assets from Kerry Group.
“With the recent addition of new sites and brands following our acquisition of Kerry’s chilled savoury pastry business, we wanted a new group name to represent our identity as a forward thinking and innovative food company, and to allow us to demonstrate our new breadth of products and brands,” Chris Peters, group managing director of Addo Food Group, said.
Addo’s acquisition of Kerry’s chilled savoury pastry business was cleared by UK competition officials in June.
The group, makes branded and own-label products including sausage rolls, pork pies and quiches.
Owning and operating the Wall’s, Pork Farms, Millers, No G, Scrummy Eggs and Bowyers brands, Addo employs a total of 2600 people
It is now made up of six business units: Dorset Foods, Riverside Bakery, Palethorpes Bakery, Poole Bakery, Tottle Bakery and Spalding Bakery.
