The Good Choice network of stores are located in medium and large cities throughout the country and have an area of 90-200sq m. Sites are mainly located in residential areas and main shopping streets.

“We see a growing potential in our traditional area of activity, ie the distribution of FMCG products, online services and the press. Therefore, we decided to focus on our core business and sell the grocery chain Good Choice,” said Kolporter president Krzysztof Klicki.

Zabka said it is hoping to achieve EUR10bn in sales through organic growth and acquisitions over the next four years.

Good Choice is “one of several acquisitions we are working on”, the company said, adding it is hoping to announce more by the end of the year.

The acquisition of Good Choice is subject to anti-trust clearance.
