Dutch dairy group FrieslandCampina has appointed former Heinz executive Hein Schumacher as CFO.
Schumacher, who will take up the role from September, was previously president of Heinz’s business in Asia Pacific. He has also worked at Ahold and Unilever.
Schumacher replaces Kees Gielen, who served as CFO since 2009 when FrieslandCampina was formed after the merger of Friesland Foods and Campina. Gielen will take up the role of chief operating officer, business development. His role will see him take responsibility for expanding operations in Asia and Africa in particular.
