Ireland-based stuffing and breadcrumb manufacturer Mr Crumb has launched a food-to-go brand for the foodservice sector in the UK.
The Invisible Chef range is made up of six meat or seafood items – including a sausage-and-bacon muffin and a tuna melt panini – as well as two vegetarian offerings and a vegan harissa pulled oat wrap.

By GlobalDataThe products are delivered frozen ready for overnight defrosting. They then have a three-day chilled shelf-life and cook in minutes across a range of devices from microwaves to conventional ovens.
Mr Crumb founder and director Jason Coyle said: “This is a way for us to grow our business and develop in other areas.
“We’ve already done business with some supermarkets, for their own cafes, and football stadiums and we’re now listing with a couple of hotel chains, convenience chains and cafes.”
Mullingar, Co. Westmeath-based Mr Crumb was established in 1996 and sells its retail stuffing and breadcrumb products in Ireland, the US and the UK, where ‘big four’ supermarket groups Sainsbury’s and Morrisons are amongst its customers. It also supplies retailers with private-label products.
