Mondelez International has launched its Cadbury Dairy Milk Marvellous Creations chocolate line in India.
The latest chocolate product introduced to the country by Mondelez is available in Jelly Popping Candy and Cookie Nut Crunch flavours and will be made at the company’s new manufacturing facility in Sri City, in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh.

The launch follows the introduction of what Mondelez said was India’s first “centre-filled” chocolate, Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk Caramello and more recently the country’s “first aerated chocolate” – Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk Bubbly.
Mondelez claimed Marvellous Creations will strengthen its position as a market leader in India and “redefines the chocolate-eating experience for its consumer that craves for innovation”.
Prashant Peres, director of marketing for chocolates at Mondelez’s Indian arm, said: “Indian consumers now demand unique formats and eating experiences and given our global leadership in chocolate, we are well positioned to identify and bring some of our world-leading brands to India.”
Peres said the new product “reflects India’s celebratory spirit and our objective is to bring fun and excitement into the way Indians enjoy their favourite chocolate”. “The product combines exciting inclusions like gems, jelly and popping candy in an indulgent bar of milk chocolate that literally explodes in your mouth with every unpredictably delicious bite.”

By GlobalDataMarvellous Creations will be available in “select cities” and on Amazon from today (10 August). Mondelez said the product will then be available across all major urban and rural retailers from mid-August.
