Kellogg has launched a sweet and savoury snack range under the Be Natural brand in Australia and New Zealand.
The line includes: Moroccan spice dry roasted chickpeas; Thai sweet chilli dry roasted fava beans; dark chocolate berry blend mini bites; and dark chocolate sultanas, dates, almonds and peanuts mini bites.

The Moroccan spice chickpeas and Thai fava beans are gluten-free, nut-free snacks with no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives. Both achieve five stars under the Australian Health Star Rating nutritional labels programme.
The two other lines – the dark chocolate berry blend mini bites and the sultanas, dates, almonds and peanuts mini bites contain whole grains and have no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. They are rated four health stars.
"Snacking can be a great way to manage hunger and maintain energy levels throughout the day, but it’s important to pay attention to the type of snacks you choose," said dietitian Caitlin Reid. "With potato chips being Australia’s number one snack choice, the Be Natural Thai Sweet Chilli Fava Beans and Moroccan Spice Chickpeas are healthier alternatives that are lower in kilojoules and fat, yet still taste delicious and are also a source of fibre."
The Be Natural Moroccan chickpeas and Thai fava beans are available in Woolworths Ltd and independent grocers at a recommended retail price of A$4.99 (US$3.70) per box. The chocolate mini bites will be available in Coles, Woolworths and independent grocers at a recommended retail price of A$4.99 per box.
Kellogg did not provide details on the listings in New Zealand.
