Jerky maker Jack Link's Protein Snacks is launching a premium line of sausages – Jack Link's Wild Side.

The sausages feature "unexpected ingredients" such as handcrafted bacon jerky, hardwood-smoked beef and pork, or spicy jalapeno peppers, the company said.

The line includes five varieties: original hardwood smoked sausage; jalapeno sausage; bratwurst with bacon jerky; bratwurst with peppered jerky; and hardwood smoked with cheddar.

Jack Link's Wild Side Sausages are available exclusively at Wal-Mart stores across the US for a suggested retail price of US$3.98 per package.
