Italian dairy group Parmalat has posted a 4.7% increase in net revenues for 2006 to EUR3.85bn (US$4.98bn), with consolidated EBITDA up by 27.4% at EUR354m.

Parmalat said that exchange rate fluctuations had boosted revenues by EUR32.31m and EBITDA by EUR1.74m.

On a region-by region basis, consolidated revenues in Italy fell by 2.1% to EUR970m. But EBITDA increased to EUR105m from EUR72m in 2005.
