Osem-Nestlé Israel sold its Hod Lavan Turkey Products plant to the non-kosher deli chain Tiv-Taam Hacarmel for US$6m.

The plant, located in the Emek Hefer industrial park, will replace Tiv-Taam’s aging plant located near Tel Aviv, according to a report in Yediot Ahronot. Tiv-Taam bought the plant’s five-acre site and its modern equipment to supply its eight stores across Israel, with plans to open five more stores this year, including its 3,000m2 main outlet near the Ikea store in the Sharon Valley.

The report notes that Osem-Nestlé will continue to own the Hod Lavan brand.
