Irish retailer Musgrave Group has launch a price cut campaign across its Superquinn stores.

Prices will be cut by up to 40% on around 200 fresh food products across bakery, fresh meat, fruit and vegetables and cheese, the retailer said.

Offers include Superquinn’s Irish rooster potatoes (10kg) available for EUR6.49, a saving of EUR1.50. Superquinn’s French stick was EUR1.99 and is now available for EUR1.49.

Musgrave trading and marketing director Eoin McCormack said: “At Superquinn we know that our customers need better value now more than ever, that is what Fresh Price Cuts is all about.

“This is a commitment to long term price reductions on the fresh food our customers love while maintaining our famous quality and taste. We are delighted to say that with the support of Musgrave Group – Ireland’s largest grocery group, we are now able to offer customers even better value than before.”
